SION

Sion (시온), born Jung Si-on (정시온) on June 6, 2003, in Bielefeld, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, is a South Korean-German rapper, singer, songwriter, producer, and DJ. Born to Korean parents who both majored in classical vocal music, he developed strong vocal technique and a distinctive tone from an early age. Sion first gained attention as the youngest semifinalist on the German television competition The Voice of Germany Season 10 before making his official debut under Beautiful Noise in 2022 with the EP Love and the single "Braindead." He subsequently released the EPs Live (2023), Sociavoidance (2024), and Eigensinn (2025), alongside singles such as "Flying Fish" (2023), "Dirt Cheap" (2023), "Grow And Fly" (2023), "O.o" (2024), "Braindead2" (2025), and "Firefly" (2026). Although he initially focused on rap, Sion later expanded into soul and R&B vocals, showcasing a broad musical spectrum. Beginning in 2025, he shifted toward a sound rooted in digicore and hyperpop, incorporating elements of shoegaze, synth-pop, hardcore techno, IDM, and breakcore. In addition to his recording career, Sion is active as a DJ and EDM artist, performing internationally through world tour appearances.
