Get Scared, an American post-hardcore band from Layton, Utah, formed in 2008. The group initially consisted of Nicholas Matthews, Johnny Braddock, Bradley "Lloyd" Iverson, and Warren Wilcock. Their early releases included the EP Cheap Tricks and Theatrics (2009) and a self-titled EP (2010). In 2011, they released their debut studio album, Best Kind of Mess, which featured remakes of songs from previous EPs. Following Matthews' departure in late 2011, Joel Faviere briefly joined as the lead vocalist before Matthews returned in November 2012. The band signed with Fearless Records and released their second full-length album, Everyone's Out to Get Me, in 2013. Their third studio album, Demons (2015), marked a shift towards a metalcore sound. After releasing their fourth album, The Dead Days, in 2019, the band announced a hiatus and eventual breakup due to internal issues. Get Scared reunited in 2022 and resumed writing new music by 2025.
