Project Pat is an American rapper from Memphis, Tennessee and is a co-founder of rap group The Kaze and the older brother of Juicy J of the Three 6 Mafia. He featured on their track 'Sippin' on Some Syrup' and affiliated himself with the group throughout his early career.
His 2000 single 'Chickenhead' became a massive hit the following year, gaining airplay across the USA and bringing Dirty South-style rap to the consciousness of the nation. On the back of this success, his third album 'Mista Don't Play: Everythang's Workin'' (2001) reached the top five.
A number of legal scrambles plagued his career following his initial success, after Pat committed a series of felonies. Despite this, his creative output was prolific and there was plenty to keep his fan base entertained, including mixtapes and full-length albums. Upon signing with major label Asylum, he released 'Real Recognise Real' in 2009. This garnered another hit single in the form of 'Keep It Hood' and a series of mixtapes entitled 'Street God'.
