Mack H.D. is an up and coming hip hop producer and engineer who puts a unique Caribbean spin on classic east coast sounds. Born Mackenson Damis in Port Au Prince, Haiti, he relocated to New York at age 15 where he is currently living and producing. Coming from a small island nation to a huge bustling city, Mack turned to music as a way of making sense of the world around him. He had lost his parents and was living with his brother in White Plains when he first started to make beats. Hip hop opened up a new way to express himself, and he spent all of his free time producing, collaborating with any hungry young rappers who were interested. By the team he was a senior in high school, he had released over a dozen songs with up and coming local acts. Eventually, Mack would put his musical dreams on hold, as he went back to school to study science, but producing was never far from his mind. After he graduated he decided to celebrate by releasing a compilation of his favorite tracks he’d worked on in July 2019. With his genuine love of hip hop music and culture, Mack’s unique talents have him in position to become a highly influential figure in rap. He is currently planning the release of more new and innovative music to reach new, bigger audiences and build his reputation as a one of a kind producer.
