Die US-amerikanische Schauspielerin und Sängerin Sofia Carson wird am 10. April 1993 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida geboren. Sie beginnt ihre Schauspielkarriere im Jahr 2014, bevor im März 2016 bekannt wird, dass sie einen Plattenvertrag bei Hollywood Records und Republic Records unterschrieben hat. Als Neuauflage des Hits „Live is Life" von Opus erscheint ihre Debütsingle „Love Is The Name" ebenfalls 2016. Noch im selben Jahr veröffentlicht sie außerdem ihre zweite Single „I’m Gonna Love You". Während „Back to Beautiful" 2017 in Zusammenarbeit mit dem norwegischen DJ und Produzenten Alan Walker entsteht, wird die Single „Rumors" (2018) gemeinsam mit DJ R3hab veröffentlicht. Zusammen mit R3hab entstehen außerdem zwei weitere Singles: „I luv U"(2019) und „Miss U More Than U Know" (2020). Während Carson sich weiterhin auf ihre Schauspielkarriere konzentriert und Rollen in Filmen und Serien übernimmt, erscheint 2021 der Titel „Fool’s Gold" und 2022 „Loud“.
