Biografie

Born on April 4, 1984 in Rurka Kalan, JalandharPunjabIndia, Punjabi music talent Garry Sandhu first stepped out as a singer in 2010 with "Main Nee Peenda" and went on to accrue an arsenal of hits, including 2017's "Illegal Weapon" with Jasmine Sandlas. His debut album, Fresh, arrived in 2011 on the label Goyal Music and that same year he picked up his first two awards: Best Newcomer and Best Male Act at the Brit Asia TV Music Awards. Garry Sandhu's second album Magic – released on his own Fresh Media Records - appeared in 2012 and the following year he won the lauded PTC Punjabi Music Award for best duet vocalist with the song "Ik Gal," as well as receiving a number of other nominations including Best Bhangra Song for "Ik Gal" and Romantic Ballad of the Year for "Raatan." Adding another string to his bow, Garry Sandhu broke into the world of acting in 2014, making his debut in the Punjabi-language Indian action comedy film Romeo Ranjha also starring Jazzy B. That same year he released his third album, Fresh All the Way, via his own Fresh Media Records. He has scored multiple Top 10 UK Asian hits, including 2018's "Yeh Baby," 2019's "Hauli Hauli" and 2019 chart-topper "Illegal Weapon 2.0." In 2021, he appeared in the Punjabi-language romantic drama film Qismat 2, written and directed by Jagdeep Sidhu, and released the singles "Ishq" featuring Shipra Goyal, Myles Castello and "Good Luck."
