STONE, an English alternative rock band from Liverpool, was formed in 2019 by Finley Jake "Fin" Power (vocals, guitar), Elliott Gill (guitar), Sarah Lucy Surrage (bass), and Alex Smith (drums). Prior to STONE, Finley Power and Elliott Gill were members of The Bohos, which began releasing music in 2017. In 2019, they rebranded as STONE and released their first singles "Leave It Out" and "Keep Running". They gained traction with subsequent releases like "Fuse" and "Let's Dance to the Real Thing", performing at major festivals such as Reading and Leeds in 2021. In 2022, they signed with Polydor Records and released their debut EP punkadonk. The band continued to build momentum with tours supporting acts like Yungblud and Sam Fender, and released their second EP punkadonk2 in 2023. STONE's debut album Fear Life for a Lifetime, produced by Rich Costey, was released in July 2024 and reached number 38 on the UK Albums Chart. The sophomore album, Autonomy, released in February 2026, featured singles "Never Again", "Monkey See Monkey Do", "Sweet Heroine", and "Stack Up the Reasons."
