Biography
High-flying DJ and producer David Puentez has several club hits to his name, along with over 2 million monthly listeners on Spotify to acknowledge his success. Aside from his own productions the Cologne-based artist has been making a name for himself with exclusive remix work for leading artists such as Post Malone, Tièsto, Rita Ora, Jonas Blue and many more, while his popular edit of "God's Plan" by Drake is a regular on the international festival circuit. In 2019, Puentez made the jump from the club to the overall charts, topping the German iTunes Top 100 charts with his #1 single "No Matter What" and in 2020 with his latest hit "LaLaLife".His single "Superstar" has meanwhile peaked at #22 of the Official Airplay Charts with over 1.000 plays weekly. His latest release "LaLaLife" gained more than 100 radio plays in its first week after release, continuing the success of "Superstar", Back in October 2019, Puentez joined the ranks of the world's leading producers as #59 on 1001Tracklists' «Top 101 Producers of 2019" (the world's leading DJ tracklist database). Despite more than 150 gigs per year, performing live remains his great passion, according to his own statement.
