Ashbury Heights, a Swedish electronic music duo from Sundsvall, Medelpad, was formed in 2005 by Anders Hagström and Yasmine Uhlin. The band signed with the Out of Line label and released their debut album, Three Cheers for the Newlydeads, in 2007. In November 2008, Uhlin left the band and was replaced by Kari Berg, who featured on their second studio album, Take Cair Paramour (2010). Following a dispute with Out of Line, Ashbury Heights disbanded in 2010. The conflict was resolved in 2011, leading to the band's renewal and the addition of Tea F. Thimé as the new vocalist. Their third album, The Looking Glass Society, was released on July 24, 2015. After Thimé's departure in February 2019, original member Yasmine Uhlin rejoined the band. In September 2020, they released the single "Spectres from the Black Moss" and continued to release new music consistently.
