Henrik Freischlader was born on 3 November 1982 in Germany and is known for his work as a blues guitarist, singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. During his teenage years, he started his career playing in bands such as Lash and Bluescream before forming the Henrik Freischlader Band in 2004. His first album The Blues was released in March 2006. Notable albums include Get Closer (2012), Live (2008), Recorded by Martin Meinschäfer (2009), Still Frame Replay (2011), and Night Train to Budapest, re-released in 2013. Throughout his career, Henrik Freischlader has played with numerous blues legends such as Joe Bonamassa, B.B. King, Gary Moore, Peter Green, and Johnny Winter. His music blends elements of rock, jazz, soul, and funk while remaining rooted in the blues genre. In 2023, Little Big Beat – Studio Live Session, his seventh live album, was released.
