The Australian Pink Floyd Show, formed in 1988 in Adelaide, South Australia, is a tribute band dedicated to replicating the music and stage presence of Pink Floyd. Initially founded by guitarist Lee Smith, the group later included vocalist and guitarist Steve Mac, keyboardist Jason Sawford, drummer Grant Ross, and bassist Trevor Turton. Their first live show was performed for a select group of family and friends under the name Think Floyd. By 1993, after an East Coast tour of Australia, the band secured a performance at a Pink Floyd fan convention at Wembley, UK. Prior to leaving for England on 8 August 1993, Think Floyd was renamed The Australian Pink Floyd Show. Notable performances include appearances on international stages such as Wembley and the Glastonbury Festival. The band has released several live albums, including The Dark Side of the Moon Live (2003), Wish You Were Here Live (2005), and Animals Live (2005).
