Known for being one of the most-listened Christian artists on digital streaming platforms, Gabriela Rocha Corrêa Moreira (March 13, 1994), or simply Gabriela Rocha, is a Brazilian worship music singer-songwriter from São Paulo. Born into an evangelical household, she started singing at her local church at the age of 5 and jumped into the spotlight by winning Raul Gil’s Jovens Talentos contest in 2007. Her official debut arrived the following year when she teamed up with fellow singer Elias dos Santos on the album Irmãos na Fé. In 2010, her rendition of Leonard Cohen’s "Hallelujah" accumulated thousands of views on her video-sharing channel, propelling her career to new heights. This success led to a recording contract with Sony Music, which released her studio debut Jesus in 2012. She went on to release three more LPs for Sony—Pra Onde Iremos? (2014), #SML (2016), and the live album Até Transbordar (2016)—before signing with Onimusic in 2017. Her first effort for the label, the EP Céu (2018) featured the viral hit single “Lugar Secreto,” which racked up over 200 million views in less than a year. In 2019, Gabriela Rocha released the single “Diz,” a version of Lauren Daigle’s “You Say” that was included in the soundtrack of the film Overcomer. During the 2020 coronavirus pandemic, she did a charity live stream with singer Mariana Valadão and released the album Juntos em Adoração. That same year, Gabriela Rocha stayed active through a series of collaborations with Kim Walker-Smith (“Teu Espírito”), Rebecca Carvalho (“Até Te Encontrar”), and Elevation Worship (“Vida aos Sepulcros”).
