Damien Fleau is part of this generation of composer doing everything by himself, multi instrumentalist. Saxophonist and pianist this musician with multiple influences is above all passionate about the cinematographic universe. His references range from Mozart, Ravel, Wagner, Ennio Morricone to Nihls Fram, Steve Reich and Philippe Glass. His experience of the stage brings to his creation an openness and a particular sensitivity. His references, his musical culture and cinematography allow him to offer his various collaborators, directors among others, but also television and advertising, a large palette of musical styles. This diversity has led him to work with directors such as Coline Serreau for his film "Tout est permis", or with New York's Shawn Christensen (Oscar 2016 for Best Short Film) for his film "Sidney Hall". He switches from music tinted with electronic sounds and analog synthesizers to a much more orchestral music in the line of composers such as Reich or Glass. Also he makes exist through his personal compositions groups such as KAST, duet to the universe eletro pop. But also FESTEN, jazz quartet with strong cinematographic references. He has also worked since 2012 on the musical direction of Cirque Farouche with his shows Blast and 18 and a half.
