Jim Legxacy

Jim Legxacy (born James Folorunso Ifeanyi Olaloye) is a British rapper, singer, songwriter, and producer from London. Raised in Lewisham with Nigerian heritage, he originally planned to pursue graphic design before redirecting his creativity into music. Musically, Jim Legxacy first began releasing projects in 2019, starting with the EP Dynasty Program: A Metrical Composition Inspired by the Nights Spent as the Raiider, followed by BTO! in 2020 and Citadel in 2021. During this period, Legxacy also co-wrote and co-produced the 2023 mega‑hit “Sprinter” for Dave and Central Cee. The track became the longest‑running number one rap single in UK chart history. In 2024, he released the emotionally powerful track “nothings changed (!)”, dedicated to his late sister Atinuke Olaloye, who passed away from sickle cell anaemia. That summer, he performed his first live show at The Albany in Deptford. He also appears on two tracks of Fred Again’s fourth album Ten Days (released in September 2024), and in 2025 dropped his fourth mixtape black british music (2025).
