Weatherday

Sputnik (active from 2019), known by the primary alias Weatherday, is a Swedish emo, lo-fi, noise pop, and shoegaze musician. Sputnik began producing music around 2015. Under the name Weatherday, Sputnik released the debut album Come In on April 29, 2019. Topshelf Records re-released the album following its initial appearance on Bandcamp. Sputnik released the single “Only Us and Linger On” in 2018. Under various aliases, Sputnik released the EPs Lola's Pocket PC (2019), Kraków Angels (2021 as Rana Plastic Bubbles), and forgetmenot (2021 as Five Pebbles). In 2022, Sputnik collaborated with Asian Glow on the EP Weatherglow and released the EP Edema Ruh. Sputnik released the second Weatherday album, Hornet Disaster, via Topshelf Records on March 19, 2025.
