The Teskey Brothers are an Australian blues and soul band, who all grew up around the Yarra Valley near Melbourne. The band is centred upon brothers Josh and Sam Teskey who first started busking together around Melbourne. The brothers were joined by bassist Brendon Love and drummer Liam Gough in 2008 and began playing Melbourne venues as The Teskey Brothers and gained a live following.
The band share a love of Tamla Motown and soul and developed a gritty R&B/soul sound accentuated by Josh Teskey's husky vocals. They also worked as the backing band for singer Ella Thompson. In 2017 the Teskey Brothers released their debut album 'Half Mile Harvest'.
Their second album was 2019's 'Run Home Slow'. This featured the singles 'So Caught Up', 'Man of the Universe' and 'Hold Me'. The band was active in fundraising for victims of the Australian bushfires in 2020.
