Né le 29 juillet 1980 à Massy (Essonne), Dimitri Schoenfeld commence à mixer en 1999. Son style entre house et dance le destine à une carrière populaire. En 2006 il est repéré par Joachim Garraud lors d'un concours organisé par Virgin, et signé par le label Gumprod de David Guetta.

Nouveau prétendantDim Chris aligne alors les titres avec « French Kiss » comme point d'orgue en 2007. La première consécration survient en décembre 2007 avec l'entrée au Top de « Sucker ». Le titre finit sa course en No 5 le 19 janvier 2008. La scène dance/house française, déjà prolixe, vient de trouver un nouveau prétendant.
