Alfons Weindorf, born on May 18, 1964, is a German music producer, composer, singer, publisher. During his music studies, he co-founded the neo-classical band Zara-Thustra in the 1980s. Weindorf adopted the stage name Elvin in 1986 and released his debut single "Luggi, Luggi, Ludwig / You Set My Heart on Fire" in the Euro-disco style. He collaborated with Fancy on the title "Flames of Love" and produced numerous disco songs and film scores. In 1988, he released the instrumental album Expectations – A Contemporary Flight of Imaginations with Curtis Briggs. Weindorf founded Atlantis 2000 in 1990, which represented Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest 1991 in Rome with "Dieser Traum darf niemals sterben", placing 18th. He also composed the Austrian entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 1994, "Für den Frieden der Welt", performed by Petra Frey.
