Dēvics is an American indie rock band formed in Los Angeles, California, in 1993, founded by vocalist Sara Lov and guitarist and keyboardist Dustin O'Halloran. Their first release, the single “Peresoso” (1994), preceded their debut studio album, Buxom (1996), on Splinter Records. Subsequent albums include If You Forget Me... (1998), My Beautiful Sinking Ship (2001), The Stars at Saint Andrea (2003), and Push the Heart (2006). The band’s song “Key” was performed in the bar called The Bronze in a 2001 episode of the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer titled “Crush”, and the song “Salty Seas” appeared as the credits song for episode four of the video game The Walking Dead: Season Two (2014). Lov and O'Halloran later focused on separate careers, with Lov releasing music under her own name from 2008 and O'Halloran composing soundtracks and collaborating in the duo A Winged Victory for the Sullen.
