Jason Terrance Phillips, who goes by the name Jadakiss, is an America hip-hop performer from New York who gained fame as a member of the rap group The Lox on Puff Daddy's Bad Boy label in 1994. They had hit singles and albums, but in 2001 he launched a solo career with the album 'Kiss the Game Goodbye' which went to number two on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart and number five on the Billboard 200. 'The Last Kiss' (2009) topped the R&B/Hip-Hop and the Top Rap Albums charts and peaked at number three on the 200. 'I Love You (A Dedication to My Fans): The Mixtape' (2011) reached number five on the Rap Chart and number eight on the R&B/Hip-Hop Chart. 'Top 5 Dead Or Alive' (2015) also topped the R&B/Hip-Hop and Rap charts and reached number four on the 200. 'Friday On Elm Street' (2017) topped the R&B/Hip-Hop Chart, went to number three on the Rap Chart and number ten on the 200.

He has had 33 tracks on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs Chart including two that reached the top ten - 'U Make Me Wanna' (2004) featuring Mariah Carey and the Grammy-nominated 'Why?' (2004) featuring Anthony Hamilton. In 2017 he linked up again with The Lox on their first album in 16 years, 'Filthy America. It's Beautiful', which went to number five on the Rap Chart and number six on the R&B/Hip-Hop Chart. He appeared in concert at venues in New York, New Mexico, New Jersey, Florida, Germany and Canada in 2018 and his 2019 schedule was to include performances with The Lox in New York City and Hartford, Connecticut.
