Biyografi

 Andrés Calamaro is a singer and songwriter from Buenos Aires, Argentina. He was born on August 22, 1961, and is widely considered one of the most important figures in Argentine rock history. Andrés Calamaro has a long career spanning various influential projects, such as the supergroup Abuelos de la Nada and the chart-topping band Los Rodríguez. Andrés Calamaro started his career in music as a keyboardist, playing in groups such as Raíces and Dickinson Power Trio. He would go on to serve as a session musician, before joining an early version of the band that would go on to become Soda Stereo. While playing as a backing musician for Charly García, he joined Los Abuelos de la Nada with other notable figures of the Argentine music scene. While still in Los Abuelos de la Nada, Andrés Calamaro recorded his first solo album, Hotel Calamaro (1984). Throughout the rest of the decade, he acted as producer for artists such as Los Fabulosos Cadillacs and Enanitos Verdes while releasing his own solo albums such as Por Mirarte (1988) and Nadie Sale Vivo de Aquí (1989). In the early 90s, Andrés Calamaro formed the band Los Rodríguez in Spain, with whom he’d have several hits such as “Sin Documentos” and “Para No Olvidar.” After Los Rodríguez disbanded, Andrés Calamaro resumed his solo career, releasing successful singles such as “Flaca” and “Crímenes Perfectos.” He would go on to record highly acclaimed and successful albums such as Honestidad Brutal (1999), El Cantante (2004), and most recently Dios los Cría (2021), among many others.
