Biyografi

Marracash is the stage name of Italian rapper Fabio Bartolo Rizzo (May 22, 1979), who jumped to fame in the early aughts as a member of the hip-hop collective Dogo Gang. Born in Nicosia, Sicily, but raised in the suburbs of Milan, he made his first recordings under the pseudonym Yuza delle Nuvole and joined Dogo Gang in 2004, appearing in the mixtape PMC VS Club Dogo: The Official Mixtape as Marracash, his childhood nickname. Following the release of Dogo Gang’s Roccia Music Vol. 1 (2005) and Benvenuti nella Giungla (2008), he released his eponymous studio debut later that year, reaching Number 9 on the Italian Albums Chart. Even though his sophomore full-length Fino a Qui Tutto Bene (2010) was considered a commercial flop, Marracash returned in full force in 2011 with the album King del Rap, which peaked at Number 3 on the domestic charts and received platinum certification shortly after. Further success ensued with the albums Status (2015) and Santeria (2016), a collaborative album with legendary rapper Gue Pequeno that shot straight to the top of the charts in Italy, followed by the double platinum-selling Persona in 2019, which also went to Number 1. In 2021, Marracash dropped his seventh studio album Noi, Loro, gli Altri, which contained the chart-topping single “Love,” another collaborative effort with Gue Pequeno.
