Ana Popović, born on May 13, 1976 in Belgrade, Serbia, is a blues guitarist and singer. Her father introduced her to the blues at an early age, and she began playing guitar at fifteen. In 1995, Popović formed the band Hush, which performed across Serbia and Greece. Their debut album Hometown was released in 1998 through PGP-RTS. In 1999, Popović moved to the Netherlands and started her solo career with the release of Hush! in 2001 on Ruf Records. She continued her success with albums like Comfort to the Soul (2003), Ana! Live in Amsterdam (2005), Still Making History (2007), Blind for Love (2009), Unconditional (2011), and Can You Stand the Heat (2013). In 2015, she collaborated with her father Milton Popović on Blue Room. In 2016, she released a triple album titled Trilogy, featuring guests like Joe Bonamassa and Robert Randolph. Based in the United States, she followed with albums Like It on Top (2018), Live for Live (2020), Power (2023), and Dance to the Rhythm (2025).
