Rapper SCH is one of the most consistently successful hip-hop artists to emerge from France in recent years. His real name is Julien Justin Fritz Schwarzer and he was born in Marseille on April 6, 1993. Schwarzer began writing songs as a teenager using the pseudonym Schneider when posting material on social media sites. In 2014, he released his first mixtape, a selection of 14 tracks titled A7 and featuring production by Katrina Squad and DJ Kore. It was an immediate success and went on to be awarded a gold certification having sold over 68,000 copies. After this promising start to his career, his debut album Anarchie was much-anticipated by French hip-hop fans and after its release in 2016, it reached Number 2 in the French charts. A year later, Schwarzer's second album Deo Favente was equally well received and topped the French charts in 2017. His third album Jvlivs enjoyed similar chart success reaching Number 2 and completed an impressive hat trick of platinum-selling albums and established the rapper as one of France's brightest hip-hop talents. A fourth album titled Rooftop saw the light in 2019 and peaked at Number 3 on the French Albums Chart. Following an appearance on Jul’s 13’Organisé project in 2020, SCH returned in full form in 2021 with Jvlivs II, which spawned the Number 1 hit single “Mannschaft,” featuring Freeze Corleone, and became his second album to reach the top of the charts in his native France.
