Real name Pierre-Mickaël Calogine, singer Mikl (sometimes spelled Mik L) was born in La Réunion in 1998. An interpreter of zouk with urban sounds and local mayola influences, he made his mark in 2015 with the track "Alice", followed by the album Magical Love (2016). The tracks "Je t'aime" in 2017 and "À deux" in 2018 precede his second album Asmara (2019), featuring the duet "Encore une fois" with Nesly. In 2020, he provides a response to Tayc on "Aymie", followed by "Si seulement" (2021) and his cover of "Tout doucement" in 2022. Two singles follow in 2023, "Ambiancé" and "On a changé", as well as an appearance on Maureen's "Tkt pas". In 2024, "Ma woman" appears in the chart of most popular songs in French overseas territories and departments.
