Shygirl

Blane Muise (born on May 4, 1993 in London, UK), known by her stage name Shygirl, is a club-minded DJ, rapper, singer and songwriter. Muise launched her career in 2016 with the debut track, “Want More,” marking the beginning of a long-term musical partnership with future-facing club artist Sega Bodega. Spiked with elements of industrial, noise, grime, rap and club music, the track announced Muise as an exciting genre-busting artist. In 2018, Muise co-founded the NUXXE label with Sega Bodega, Coucou Chloe and Oklou and that same year released her Cruel Practice EP. She assembled a cavalcade of electronic producers for her ALIAS EP in 2020, including the late visionary artist SOPHIE, Grammy-winning producer Arca, Karma Kid, Happa and Sega Bodega. In 2021, her debut album Nymph, received critical acclaims from the press and expanded her audience. She followed up with the releases of EPs Club Shy (2024), Club Shy 2 (2025), and Room 2 Rmx (2025). In 2025, Shygirl also released Alias Is Me, a 14-track album featuring the original Alias EP and new remixes from EQ, Sega Bodega & JT, Alex Chapman & George Riley, Nick León & Six Sex, Amnesia Scanner, and TDJ.
