Frameless, a German rock group from the Westerwald region, formed in 2001 with Christian Bedersdorfer, Andreas Höhner, Uli Weber, Jan Hüsch, and Markus Benner, who had previously performed together in their school band Mental Sunrise. In 2001, the group officially adopted the name Frameless, and by 2003, they issued their first single, "Wiser", followed by the hit "I Try" in 2004, which featured in a Škoda advertisement. The same year, the single "Hooray" served as the title track for the film Back to Gaya, and "Black and White" became the anthem for the German national football team at the 2004 European Championship. In 2006, Oliver Pocher recorded a cover of the latter song, which became a top-ten hit for him. Frameless released the studio album Leave It All Behind in 2004, before announcing their disbandment in 2007.
