Children Collide, an Australian indie rock band from Melbourne, was formed by bassist Heath Crawley and vocalist/guitarist Johnny Mackay. Their debut EP, We Three, Brave and True (2005), marked their entry into the music scene. In October 2008, they released their breakthrough album, The Long Now, produced by David Sardy. The album featured the single "Farewell Rocketship", which reached number 66 on Triple J's Hottest 100 for 2008. They performed at notable events such as Triple J’s One Night Stand and the Coaster Music Festival, sharing the stage with acts like Hilltop Hoods and Eskimo Joe. In August 2021, they released their fourth studio album, Time Itself, marking their first release since reuniting in 2019.
