Biografia

Priscilla Renea Hamilton (September 14, 1988) is a socially conscious American singer-songwriter who performs in a wide variety of genres, including pop, soul, and R&B. Born in Vero Beach, Florida, she started singing at a very young age but didn’t feel comfortable doing it until she was much older. Slowly but surely, she grew a substantial fanbase on social media by regularly uploading videos of herself singing to her personal channel, something that helped her land a record deal with Capitol Records in 2009. Preceded by the single “Dollhouse,” her studio debut Jukebox saw the light in late 2009 and quickly climbed to Number 23 on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart, staying there for an entire week. In the following years, Priscilla Renea made a name for herself as a songwriter, scoring credits on albums by Demi Lovato, Rihanna, Madonna, Mika, Selena Gomez & The Scene, Chris Brown, and Little Mix. Almost a decade later, she resumed her solo work with the politically charged Coloured (2018) and, as of 2019, began performing under the pseudonym Muni Long, releasing the EP Black Like This in 2020 and the full-length Nobody Knows in 2021. That year, she also issued the EP Public Displays of Affection, which contained the fan favorite “Hrs and Hrs," a song that not only took her into the Billboard Hot 100 Top 20 but also landed her the Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance. 2023 saw the release of the collaborative single "Still Work" with OG Parker and Ty Dolla Sign.
