DG e Batidão Stronda, formed by Geovane Henrique Freire de Lira (DG) and Guilherme da Silva Alves (Batidão Stronda), are a Brazilian brega duo from Pernambuco who began producing music in their teens using just a computer and a keyboard, fueled by a deep passion and talent for the genre. Their breakthrough came in 2018 with the viral hit "Jogo do Amor," a collaboration with Mc Bruninho that has amassed nearly 90 million plays on streaming, propelling them into national prominence. Following this success, they became sought-after producers, contributing to the rise of brega funk in São Paulo and working with major artists like Mc Don Juan on "Nosso Amor Já Era" and Vitinho Ferrari alongside Mc Bruninho on "Sou Favela," both of which became massive hits with over 300 million combined views on their channel. Their fresh approach to brega, blending catchy melodies with powerful beats, has led to collaborations across genres, including funk, and they continue to innovate and release new projects that keep them at the forefront of Brazil's urban music scene. In 2025, they dropped the album DBMIX, featuring contributions from Rogerinho, Vulgo FK, MC PH, Nuzio Medeiros, MC Rick, MC Menor da VG, Mc Livinho, and Kadu Martins.
