Some artists become overnight sensations, their first moment in the spotlight immediately catapulting them to fame. Others grind for years, their breakthrough moment being the reward for their dogged determination.
Reece is a rare exception whose story straddles both extremes. The singer, rapper and songwriter scored one of YouTube’s earliest viral hits when his debut track ‘Heaven’ reached a million streams when he was just 15-years-old. That initial rush of attention also saw him become the youngest artist to ever play Wireless, as well as the first independent artist to perform at the festival.
Despite that flying start, it was another eight years before the South-East Londoner signed a recording deal with the UK’s most vital label Disturbing London.
In the years that have passed, Reece has enjoyed some memorable highlights. He hit the Australian charts as a featured artist on Danni Minogue’s ‘Summer Of Love’, toured with N-Dubz and landed a second hit of his own when the 2016 single ‘LifeLong Love’ passed 400,000 without any promotion whatsoever.
‘All Falls Down’ is Reece’s debut release for Disturbing London, with Moelogo jumping on board for a feature after the two artists were introduced by mutual friends.
Reece’s profile will be built initially through an organic and non-traditional approach, using the social media sphere as a catalyst for driving awareness of his debut release as well as his artist identity.
