Biografie
Sick Luke is an Italian trap artist and producer, born in London on August 17, 1994. The son of TruceKlan’s Duke Montana, he began crafting his own beats at age 13 and made his debut with the instrumental “Making Moves” on his father’s Grindz Musik I album in 2010. His first mixtape, Instrumentals, saw the light in 2013 via the label Honiro, followed by 808 Nostalgia later that year. Between 2014 and 2019, Sick Luke found his footing as a producer with three additional installments of the Instrumentals series and produced tracks for some of the hottest MCs in the Italian hip-hop scene, including Sfera Ebbasta, Emis Killa, and Gue Pequeno. In addition, he has also collaborated with the Rome-based collective Dark Polo Gang, releasing the mixtapes Full Metal Dark (2015), Crack Musica (2016), Succo di Zenzero (2016), and The Dark Album (2017). Following the release of the singles “Pikachv” with Edo Fendy and “Stanotte” with Gli Psicologi in 2019, Sick Luke returned with “La Strega del Frutteto” (2021), a collaborative track with Chiello and Madame that climbed to Number 37 on the Italian Singles Chart. The single was later included in Sick Luke’s second studio album X2 (2022), which also featured the chart-topping hit “Solite Pare” with Tha Supreme and Sfera Ebbasta.
