InMe are an English alternative rock and metal ensemble from Brentwood, Essex active since 1996. The group was established in 1996 as Drowned by the musicians Dave McPherson, Joe Morgan, and Simon Taylor before renaming the ensemble in 2001. Their recording career began with the debut studio recording Overgrown Eden (2003) which reached number 15 in the United Kingdom and Number 1 on the UK Rock Albums Chart. The recording featured the tracks "Underdose" (2002) which reached number 66 and "Crushed Like Fruit" (2003) which reached number 25. The ensemble achieved professional recognition for a 2003 performance at Doctor Music Day in Spain with Metallica and Evanescence. Their discography includes the studio recording White Butterfly (2005) produced by Josh Abraham and Colin Richardson. The recording featured the tracks "Faster the Chase" (2004) which reached number 31 and "7 Weeks" (2005) which reached number 36. They achieved professional recognition for the live recording Caught: White Butterfly (2006) recorded at the London Astoria. After Morgan departed in 2006, the ensemble included the bassist Greg McPherson. Their recording career included the studio recording Daydream Anonymous (2007) and the track "I Won't Let Go" (2007) which reached number 77.
