Malick Mendosa, who goes by the stage name S. Pri Noir, emerged on the French rap scene in 2008 after studying for a BTS in sales and marketing. After taking part in the L'Institut du 75 collective, he joined the Nouvelle École label, and in 2012 released the album N.E. under his own name, along with fellow rapper Still Fresh. With tracks as strong as"Un Sac plein d'oseille" released in October 2013, his debut EP 0.0.S: Licence to Kill arriving in April 2014 is a small event on the market. This first consistent attempt narrowly fails to enter the French top hundred. A James Bond fan, S.Pri Noir titles his second EP Le Monde Ne Suffit Pas in June 2015. He continued his rise on the French rap scene with his album Masque Blanc (No. 3 in the French charts) in 2018, featuring collaborations with Nekfeu, Nemir and Still Fresh. In 2020, he teamed up with Leto, Alpha Wann, Sneazzy, 4Keus, Alonzo, Lefa, Laylow, Lyna Mahyem and Dadju on a new album,État d' Esprit (#18 in France). It wasn't until 2023 that the rapper unveiled a series of previously unreleased songs, heralding the arrival of a new opus. These included "Les Clefs du château " and "Bonsoir Paris (Mama No Cry)", recorded as a duet with Tiakola. In 2024, he presents another collaboration: "Kawasaki", with Laylow. This was followed by the studio album La Cour des Miracles, featuring guest contributions from Guy2Bezbar, Marj, Nekfeu, Yseult and Maes.
