Misié Sadik, whose real name is Mickaël Maragnes, is a French singer born in Abymes, Guadeloupe, on December 23, 1983. Influenced by French rap and Jamaican dancehall, he joined the Kollectif Westside and organized sound systems, before going into self-production. In 2009, he released his debut album Pli Iwen Ki Zyié, which made him a household name on the island and beyond in the West Indian community, as he performed in Paris in April 2010 and opened for rapper Diam's in Guadeloupe. After winning the SACEM revelation prize, he signed with Step Out Productions, a label set up by Krys, and recorded the album A Kè Wouvè (2013). He devoted several years to performing, before the 2018 release of his third album An Silans (No. 74), whose subsequent tour concluded at La Cigale in April 2019. Several singles followed until the release of the album Koérans (2025), including the hits "An myèt" and "Gwo blo", which charted in the Outre-Mer Songs charts.
