The US metalcore band Of Mice and Men were formed in Calfornia in 2009, originally created by the ex Attack, Attack! vocalist Austin Carlile who had joined forces for the new project with bass player Jaxin Hall. Within a year both men had left, Carlile due to health reasons and Hall departed to concentrate on his clothing business. Of Mice and Men's self-titled debut album was released in 2010 and immediately made an impact on the charts reaching number three on Billboard's Heatseekers Chart and achieving creditable results in the mainstream listings. The band's highest charting release was their 2014 release 'Restoring Force' which was the first album to feature current bass player and vocalist Aaron Pauley. During the band's career they have been plagued with an unstable line-up with members getting fired or leaving, then re-joining and subsequently leaving again. Despite these unsettling influences the band have become an established force on the US metalcore scene and are a regular attraction on the international festival scene.
