Biografía
Tinashe Mupani (February 10, 1995), better known as Kelvin Jones, is a British-Zimbabwean singer based in Germany since 2016. He jumped to fame back in 2015 with the folk-pop single “Call You Home,” which went viral online and was featured extensively on the TV program Good Morning America. This led to a record deal with Sony, who released Stop the Moment, his official studio, in 2015. Mupani spent the following years touring as opening act for Mark Forster, X Ambassadors, and James Morrison, and then dropped the single “Only Thing We Know” (2018), a collaboration with Alle Farben and YouNotUs that entered the Top 20 on the German charts. He followed up with the 2019 Sara Hartman duet “Magnetic” and teamed up with YouNotUs once again for “Seventeen,” released that same year. In 2020, “Love to Go,” a joint effort with Lost Frequencies and Zonderling, peaked at Number 58 on the German charts and paved the way for “Don’t Let Me Go,” an electro pop banger that quickly amassed millions of plays on the singer’s streaming channel.
