Girl's Day is a South Korean girl group formed by Dream T Entertainment in 2010, comprising vocalists Park So-jin (Sojin), Bang Min-ah (Minah), Kim Ah-young (Yura), and Lee Hye-ri (Hyeri). Their debut occurred on July 7, 2010, with the release of "Tilt My Head" ("갸우뚱") and their debut EP Girl's Day Party #1 (2010) followed shortly after, reaching number 12 on the South Korean albums chart. Subsequent releases included Girl's Day Party #2 in October and Girl's Day Party #3 in March the following year, featuring the lead single “Twinkle Twinkle” which climbed to number 4 on Korean charts. In July 2011, Girl's Day unveiled their second EP, Everyday, featuring the title track "Hug Me Once" ("한번만 안아줘"), which reached number 4 on the charts. The group continued with Girls' Day Party #4 in September, featuring the track "Don't Flirt" ("너, 한눈 팔지마!"), and EP Everyday II in April the following year, along with Girls' Day Party #5 in October. Their first full-length album, Expectation, was released on March 14, 2013, featuring the title track which became a commercial hit, as well as "Female President" ("여자대통령"), recognised as one of the 20 Best K-pop Songs of 2013 by Billboard. Girl's Day Party #6 followed shortly after with "Please Tell Me" landing at number 9. Girl's Day Everyday #3 appeared in January 2014 - its title track "Something" ("썸씽") becoming their highest-charting single to date, peaking at number 2 on both Gaon Digital Chart and Billboard's Korea K-Pop Hot 100, where it remained for 8 weeks. After the fourth installment of the series reached number 3 in July, their second album, Love (2015), achieved similar success, peaking at number 3, seeing lead single “Ring My Bell" (링마벨)” reach number 2. Following a substantial hiatus, the fifth installment of the Everyday EP series was released in March 2017, debuting at number 7 on Billboard's World Albums chart and climbing to number 5 in their home country. The lead single “I’ll Be Yours” garnered over 2 million views in less than 24 hours and peaked at number 3 on the Gaon charts.
