The Blue Stones

The Blue Stones, a Canadian alternative and blues rock duo from Windsor, Ontario, formed in 2011. The band consists of Tarek Jafar on vocals, guitar, bass, and keys, and Justin Tessier on percussion and backing vocals. Their early releases included the EPs The Blue Stones EP (2011) and How's That Sound? (2012). In August 2018, The Blue Stones signed with Entertainment One and re-released their debut LP Black Holes. They embarked on the Be My Fire Tour in the US. In early January 2020, they were nominated for the Juno Award in the category of Breakthrough Group of the Year. Their sophomore album, Hidden Gems, was released in March 2021 and featured singles such as "Shakin' Off The Rust" and "Let It Ride". The band continues on it ways with Pretty Monster (2022) and Metro (2025).
