Biography

Accentus is an ensemble of some thirty singers performing major works from the contemporary repertoire and other creations ina cappella form. Founded in 1991 by Laurence Equilbey, the chamber choir has recorded Brahms' German Requiem, Vivaldi's Orlando furioso and Pascal Dusapin's Requiem(s ). It was voted best vocal ensemble at the 2002, 2005 and 2008 Victoires de la musique classique awards.
