Ben Böhmer

German producer, composer and live DJ Ben Böhmer was born in Göttingen in 1994. He was already musically encouraged as a child, played the piano and trumpet and then experimented with synthesizers. His first release was the Black Pattern EP in 2014, followed a year later by the first single "Promise You". In numerous other EPs and his first-class live performances, he continued to work on his own style, which resulted in his debut album Breathing (2019), which was released on the London label Anjunadeep. in 2020, he released the remix album Breathing (Remixed), the concert recording Live From Printworks London and the Phases EP. He also provided his fans with spectacular livestreams during the Covid-19 pandemic. On the one hand, he flew in a hot air balloon over the fairytale landscape of Cappadocia in Turkey and played in it, and on the other, he played a set in Kliemannsland, made famous by Fynn Kliemann, while the stage set for his performance was built live around him. He was named one of the world's best newcomers of the year in Billboard and FAZE Magazine. in 2021, his fourth album Begin Again placed in the charts for the first time. His melodic house tracks reached number 70 in Germany and number 79 in Austria. After the remix of Begin Again (2022) and the live album Live At The Roundhouse, London (2022), he returned in 2024 with the album Bloom. The album reached the top 20 in Germany at number 16 and also entered the charts in Austria and Switzerland.
