28-year-old Tobtok aka Tobias Karlsson, is one of the most talented artists leading the new wave of Swedish electronic music DJ / producers. He has generated over 400 million streams globally enjoyed consistent DJ and radio support (BBC Radio 1, KISS FM, Capital Dance and more) and is in high demand as a remixer and producer for other artists alongside an impressive DJ touring history. Tobtok has released on such eminent labels as Kitsuné, Astralwerks, Perfect Havoc, Ministry of Sound, Toolroom, Ultra and more, showcasing a sound ranging from nu-disco to uplifting house. His tropical-flavoured ‘Fast Car’ ft River (Neon Records) crashed into the top 20 in Australia, reached double-platinum sales and charted around the world. As a producer he’s worked on other tracks such as Karen Harding’s hit, ‘Picture’ (10 million streams) and Alex Ross ‘Dreams’ (25 million streams) and his remix skills have been called upon by the likes of The Magician, Blonde, Kesha, Ella Henderson, John Legend, Wretch-32, Christina Aguilera, Take That, and most recently, Joel Corry, Pentatonix, HRVY, Sam Feldt, Wilder Woods, Aloe Blacc, and Kesha to name a few. Tobtok’s most recent release ‘New Levels’ has been smashing the airwaves and streaming services in 2021 with the record already being crowned a Tune of The Week by Scott Mills on BBC Radio 1 along with a Today Anthem by Charlie Hedges as well. 2020 saw a wrath of releases including ‘Freak Like Me’ w/ Fubu and Kate Wild which saw over 15 specialist spins on BBC Radio 1, KISS FM and generating over 5 million streams globally. With the success of his productions, Tobtok has had the opportunity to showcase his skills as a DJ. Hugely respected house label, Toolroom, invited him to provide a mix for their ‘Miami Poolside’ album series back in 2017, he has graced the decks at Ushuaia in Ibiza 6 times to date supporting for the likes of Kygo, Oliver Heldens & Martin Garrix Avicii and played The Warehouse Project, Village Underground and Kitsuné nights.
