Formed in Nashville, Tennessee in 2010, A Thousand Horses is a country rock band that incorporates classic country and southern rock into their sound. Founded by lead vocalist Michael Hobby and lead guitarist Bill Satcher, who grew up together in Newberry, South Carolina. The two began writing songs together and were soon joined by Satcher’s cousin, Graham Deloach, on bass. The trio met rhythm guitarist Zach Brown and the band’s official line-up was complete.  They released their self-titled debut EP in 2010. One of the tracks from the release, “Suicide Eyes”, was featured in the 2011 remake of the movie Footloose. Their second EP, The Landslide, was issued in 2012. Their full-length debut album, Southernality, was released in 2015 and rose to Number 3 on the Country Albums chart thanks to the massive success of the Number 1 single “Smoke”. The band released the ‘deluxe EP’ Bridges in 2017. In  2019 and 2020, they released a series of singles including “My Time’s Comin’”, “Livin’ My Best Life”, “A Song to Remember”, and “Drinking Song”.
