La Goassn, a female new folk music vocal trio, was formed by Julia Hiemer, Judith Jandl, and Steffi Smailes, all trained at the August Everding Bavarian Theater Academy in Munich. The trio debuted on Die Besten im Sommer on 11 July 2015, followed by a performance on Stadlshow in 2015, and released their self‑titled album La Goassn under Electrola/Universal in 2015. The single "Mehr, mehr, mehr" was also released in 2015, and the group toured with Voxxclub. In early 2016, Smailes left and was replaced by Anetta Szabo.
