Born in Brasília on January 9, 1983, Tania Mara made her debut on Brazilian television in 1997 on "Fantasia" by SBT. The following year, Tania took over as presenter of the program. In 2000, she was hired by the label EMI Music to release her first album, which had the songs "Chega" and "Tem Que Ser Com Você" as major highlights on radio stations in Brazil. In 2001, in partnership with Abril Music, she released the album "Brincando de Amor," produced by Arnaldo Saccomani. "Louca Paixão" is the name of her third album and the song that entered the soundtrack of the soap opera "América" by Rede Globo.
In 2006, she scored her great national success, "Se Quiser," on the telenovela Páginas da Vida soundtrack on TV Globo. The song was considered the most played of the year, elected the "Best Soap Soundtrack" on the "Domingão do Faustão" program, and won the "Press Trophy" award from SBT. In 2009, she released her first DVD with the special participation of Alexandre Pires, Elba Ramalho, Roberta Miranda, Marcus Viana, and Rafael Almeida. In 2011, her second DVD was released by the record company Som Livre with the special participation of Fernando & Sorocaba and Paula Fernandes. The album "Só Vejo Você" brought the song "Seria Tão Fácil" that was the soundtrack of the soap opera "I Love Paraisópolis" by Rede Globo and had the special participation of American singer Brian McKnight. With six albums, two DVDs, and 11 telenovelas soundtracks, Tania Mara constantly releases new music and takes her musical show across the country on stages or music platforms.
