Coldcut

These two veterans of English electronic music are better known in France for having created the English label Ninja Tune than for their music. And yet, from the remix of "Paid in Full " to the 2006 album Sound Mirrors, the duo bear a heavy responsibility for the development of styles such as trip-hop and big beat across the Channel. These DJs from the acid house era, reunited under the name Coldcut, also launched the Solid Steel radio show and worked under the pseudonym DJ Food. Their contribution to the development of electro without frontiers is inestimable, as their activities have been so diversified in genres both innovative and varied.
