Formed in 2009 in Mumbai, India, Sachin-Jigar is a duo that composes music for Bollywood, Hindi and Gujarati films. Comprised of vocalists/multi-instrumentalists Sachin Sanghvi (born on June 14, 1980, in Ahmadabad, India) and Jigar Saraiya (born on April 12, 1985, in Mumbai), the duo has composed music for films, television series, soap operas, commercial jingles and more. Both members have also provided lead vocals for various film projects. The two members met while they were both working as musical arrangers for Indian/Bollywood composer, musician and vocalist Pritam Chakraborty. Their first composition was featured in the 2009 film Life Partner, which began a very successful musical journey. In 2011, their first full-length project as s duo was the film F.A.L.T.U., which was a success that led to a stream of projects including Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya (2012), ABCD: Anybody Can Dance (2013), Go Goa Gone (2013), ABCD 2 (2015), Hindi Medium (2017), Roohi (2021), and Shiddat (2021), which reunited them with their mentor Pritam.
