Carlos Efrén Reyes Rosado (May 2, 1991), aka Farruko, is an American singer-songwriter from Puerto Rico who has had several hit singles and albums since his 2010 debut release El Talento del Bloque peaked at Number 6 on Billboard's Latin Rhythm Albums chart and Number 50 on Billboard's Top Latin Albums chart. His 2012 follow-up, Latin Grammy Award nominee TMPR: The Most Powerful Rookie, reached Number 2 on the Latin Rhythm chart and Number 19 on the Latin Albums chart. Farruko Presenta: Los Menores (2014) topped the Latin Rhythm and Latin Albums charts and reached Number 12 on the Top Rap Albums chart. A year later, Visionary (2015) went to Number 1 on the Latin Albums, and Latin Rhythm and TrapXficante (2017) topped the Latin Rhythm and reached Number 3 on Latin Albums. He has had 23 singles on the Hot Latin Songs Chart with seven in the Top 10 including “6AM” (2014), “Sunset” (2015), “Chillax” (2016) and “Obsesionado” (2016). His 2019 single “Calma” (2019) with Pedro Capo went to Number 6 on the Latin Songs chart. Preceded by the single “Pepas,” his eighth studio album La 167 saw the light in 2021, becoming his third studio album to achieve pole position on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart.
